In 2009, Northfield Savings Bank continued their funding for another three years to help Hunger Free Vermont expand the Hunger Council model to other areas of the state. With additional support from the Canaday Family Trust and Green Mountain fund, in 2010 the Hunger Council of the Lamoille Valley was launched—the first after the Chittenden and Washington pilot councils.
The Council is currently chaired by:
- Scott Johnson, Director of Lamoille Family Center
- Susan Bartlett, Special Projects Coordinator for the Vermont Agency of Human Services Central Office
